had also a friend of the family's aerospace engineer, help develop mine the tests ran so far are pretty amazing, allowing the supercharger to create 2 psi more boost. Due to the increase air pressure throught the intake track, the supercharger, is "being supercharged" meaning the supercharger is allowed to do more pressure and less vacum....
BS.

Back to under hood temps for a second.....
I have only heard the fan run in one other S
after the ignition was switched off. Mine has never
even on 90F+ days. Anyone else notice this?

Any fro one you llike to contest everything which i admire, there has to be one out there(not being an insult) you like things to be proven to you, I respect that.......

As far as the air pressure, Yes the only way this can be an advatage to you is "EITHER" do Rany's air box mod, or use Alta's Air Intake system......

As well there have been many a discussion about this already, people please use you search function on MCO...

As far as the fan coming on, I have only heard this afew times, and usually after running the a/c for long periods in very high temp and humidity conditions.

Andy, as far as the BS posting, perhaps this is another way to veiw it ..........

Jeepers creepers! ( DiD, yelled at me for profanity )

At the risk of being called a HonDa TunEr, which I certainly am not, this is my latest plan...

I am trying to design a subtle, yet aggressive hood scoop (not ricy) to mount in the hood above the air intake. I want it to "flow" with the lines of the car. This would create the most direct flow of air
Reason: to isolate the intake flow from the engine compartment and eliminate co2 gas ingestion when I spray.

1) You misspelled HoNdA tUn3r...

2) If you want to maintain the body lines, you might try a "drop scoop", officially called a NACA duct to feed the sealed airbox.

I hope no one used their Ebrake while parked!

And Lester, you did the proper thing there... opening your bonnet.

I wish I could have made that run...

hey caddman, how bout a group buy when u finish producing them, mayb u can hook one up w/ a pilo intake and the inserts special group buy for a certain price... that would be a great bargain, if they really do improve intake results and supercharger

anyways, i would be buying for the awesome look

Thanks ruf,
I actually have one ordered to play around with. I think this type will be difficult to use becuase of space constraints under the hood. I'll see soon. Maybe one of those massive mopar funny car scoops

Thanks to Andy@ross-tech.com for directing me to this dormant thread, which I will now attempt to revive.

Has anyone out there done the mod that's discussed in this thread? I'm talking about mounting a scoop where the vent in front of the driver's side windshield now resides, and modding the plumbing so the new nevt scoop will feed directly into the airbox.

I checked Cat & Dog's website, but they don't currently have the +2psi scoop discussed here for sale.

This is the only scoop of this type I've seen for sale, but it appears to be solely for looks, as it does not mention intake plumbing or include any airbox mods. CC-B Vent Scoop

Also see this thread about the stock intake's breathing, which is the thread that got me thinking about this in the first place.

airvent scoops

I just installed a jcw airbox and started thinking about ways to force some air into it when the flap is open. Airvent scoops seem to make sense but this things appear to be a dead subject. Instead of starting a new thread I decided to bump this one up. Perhaps there are some new ideas or product that can be shared on this abandoned thread. Let's hear it boys.

The CC-B link no longer works. Where can I get some of these scoops. The Moss ones look kind of cheap from their catalogue photo, but may be better in person. Any links to where I can order some?
