I'd like to know about any updates as well. Still looking for something affordable, and must be just like the GP spoiler as this one does. Also interested about using the stock glass, and what i'd have to do about the 3rd brake light.
Rumor has it there is a small company in Texas that removed a GP Wing from a car recently and made tracings of all the parts. I hear it's still with the fabricators with molds for the parts under production.
Has thinkmini successfully come out with a gp wing replica yet? (Anyone do any follow ups?) With the great (better) exchange rate right now, I would not want to miss the opportunity
I'm still looking as well. I'm not really interested in something that looks different from the GP spoiler, like the Arquay (sp?) spoiler that popped up. I want a GP spoiler without the GP price tag; realizing of course, that it will still be expensive.
After my bud had quotes for decent CF the price was going to be too high to actually sell them. Even just doing them in FG was going to be quite expensive when compared with other spoilers on the market, so the project was dropped.
I ended up buying the original GP spoiler for my car.
I can get the GP original spolier for 700 euros, that's 1K in dollars
So, to install the GP spoiler on a MCS the rear glass must to be changed and removing the rear wiper?¿
The GP glass is cut back about 1/4" where the wing brackets bolt to the hatch. If you try using the stock brackets without changing the glass you'll end up stressing the whole wing by bending the brakets over the glass.

So that's where they are...I paid for those templates and molds ya know. The deal I made with your employer when the work was contracted was that I owned those bits.
