The picture doesn't do it justice. I will get better pictures later.
What do you think?

Thanks.
I did it myself. I created, printed, & installed myself.
I am a graphics/digital printing guy.
One aspect of our business is vehicle graphics and vehicle wraps.
I can do just about anything on a car!

Any image can work. The image I started with was real nice.
Thus, it looks almost real. I'll try to get up on the roof of our building
t get a better photo. It rained though so it's alittel dirty. But I'll see
what I can pull off.

i love the graphics you had done. I have a red S with black roof and wanted to do spider man. I havent been able to find any shops willing to do it for me. (Scared of copywrites). Did yo get that custom painted or was it done on a computer decal?

I would love to have it done just a little different.

No, it isn't painted. It's printed.
When it comes to trademarks and copyrights, it depends.
If you are duplicating and selling it, your violating the copyright.
However, sometimes you can reproduce things without worry.
Like a tatoo, charater painted on a car, or printed on a roof.
In actuality, it is a copyright infringement. However, you are
not the guy they are worried about. If there was a bunch of them out there
for sale, then they would be worried and most likely seek lefal action.

O, by the way, my MINI is Liquid Yellow with the black roof.

this is cool. i have always wanted something like this on my white mirrors. i have the brg mcs with the stripes and checherboard top. it would neat if the mirrors had some type of graphics like spiderman checker flags on the mirror. i have seen spiderwebs on peoples elbows and i thought a spiderweb on the mirrors would look great. hope you think so so when you make a set i will take one too. they could just wrap around like the web was going the speed of heat. great work.

Yes Copyright Infringements are a problem when (for Example) someone uses the MINI Image, not of the vehicle itself but maybe one like this from the Mini Motoring Gear Catalog....

Wow, there so a second person has done a spiderman roof. I see a trend starting...
I was thinking of doing a full color one but as I don't happen to work at a print shop the cost was huge.

My Spiderman Roof

I made the graphic in Illustrator and had a local shop cut it for me. MiniMac, I like the roof you did a lot. Being the spiderman geek I am, I have to point out the picture you used was taken by Steve Kahn for the first Film.

Your right.
I thought about using the entire image, but I thought it would look 100%
better if it was just Spiderman holding on.

That looks very cool! I'll definitely be on the lookout for it in Phoenix!

So can I ask about cost? And how much would you charge for a sunroof-only graphic? (including installation)

I wanted a realistic looking image. I wasn't going for a comic book look.
Although I do have a sweet image like that of Spidey, and I am sure I will
do a comic book image very soon.
I like the way this Spiderman appears to be holding on.
And the image is nealry photographic so the detail is great, like
my previous Italian Job graphic.

Anyways, it will come off in a month or so for the next image.
Not sure what I will do yet, but I think I might be going in a new direction.
Possibly a HOT ROD theme.

However, I'm glad that people like it. Thanks.

BTW: I have met and talked to Todd McFarlane. Cool guy.

Top notch job! I like the "depth" of the spider man...it looks like it is coming from inside your car!

Yes Todd is a Nice Guy Lives in AZ too...

I know him through the Comic Industry myself. A very Good Friend of mine used to work with Jack Kirby, up until he passed.
I never met Jack Myself, by I have been in his presence.

That is so sweeet! I've been wanting to do a full wrap on my MCS, but haven't found anything that really grabs me. I have a friend that has a Focus... yeah I know... with a Hot Wheels Logo & flames wrapped around. Kinda cool looking.

Maybe a big fox tail, or MINI wings & Autocross numbers... or something real vampish... dunno
