Hi guys. I need your opinions about some stripes for my MCS.
I want a real sporty and mean look. I am probably going to order from aestheticreations or mightystripes, but thats not really important at the moment.

What do you suggest, any examples and photoshopping gladly appreciated. Here is my Bandit.

ps. Black Gloss grille surrounds are on the way.

 

My personal opinion is that the Viper stripes from AC are about as "mean" as you can get. I REALLY like them!

 

I don't have any mean suggestions because it's hard to make a MINI look mean I would also suggest that you include Cooper Flags on your stripe vendor list as their stuff is top notch

but dont forget about the white roof guys. i love rattmobins' stripes, but i want them to go into the scoop as well. and what color shall i choose, white or black?

Making a champaign and white MINI look mean is a real challenge.

A white stripe is not going to look mean at all. No way. If you went with black you would have to do the roof as well. Otherwise, it would look odd to have a black stripe, and plain white roof.

It has been awhile since I've seen a SS MINI, so I'm not exactly sure what color would go with it, but you might wat to add a bright color pinstripping to the edges of a large stripe. Orange might work with SS. I don't think red would work. Orange goes well with most browns.

The Viper stripe is good, the 14" racing stripe is another possibility.

 

hank you for the comment, i will try photoshopping the orange sport stripe with black pinstripes. That may work out well imo. I personally dont like ss with black roof.

why would you want to make a ss/w mini look mean? shouldnt it look refind and classy. a lil pip pip cheerio and all that.

 

imo, the straight stripes are meaner than the curved stripes on the hood. I would definitely suggest black stripes for your color car and going on the roof and down the back too. (of course i'm biased being that i have a straight stripe and its on the roof and down the back lmao). as for pins, I had the same problem with my car because i wanted some color, but didn't want it to look like a sports team or cheesy. I purchased color-changing vinyl pinstripes (usually called "chameleon" or "shade-shifting" vinyl) so that i would get some color but nothing too much. attached is a pic of ur car with a fat black stripe (not photoshoped, so its not perfect lol) and a pic of the color change pins on my mini. :-)

 

Someone here had a blue MCS with V Style Stripes on the front and back, and it looked very mean. I want to say it was TULS, but I'm not sure. I'll do some checking.

yeah the flat black looks pretty cool to me . i would like that on my pure silver .

 

I like that stripe. The chameleon pin looks great!

 

Sometimes I wish I had gone for Chili Red instead of Pure Silver.

That is definitely snazzy, but far from mean. Especially with the "cupcake" license plate. LOL!

 

o i know cupc8ke isn't neccesarily mean lol. but that kind of stripe in black with the color change pins might just look mean enough on burak's mini :p
