I LOVE Lyle and his products!! He is a super guy to work with and his products are top notch too! Lyle offers a seamless wrap that's just awesome. Definitely does NOT look cheap at all. His vinyl wrap looks just like the JCW black grill surround pieces and he can even wrap them in body color. I can't tell you about some of the other colors but I can testify that the Laser Blue body color wrap matches the body color EXACTLY! Lyle actually sent me the various blue samples and I color matched it to my new Laser Blue Mini. Then, I had him custom do some emblems for me in Laser Blue and Black and they definitely look SWEET!

I've had Lyle do my headlight rings, tail light rings, hypersport grill surround, and Mini emblems. I would definitely recommend Lyle 100%!

Here are a couple of photos of various things...

Thanks,
Celia

I'm ordering the headlight and taillights rings from him soon; possibly MINI emblems as well. From every picture I've seen, his work is absolutely outstanding. Check out this thread if you haven't already.

He did mine too. You'd never know it was wrapped in vinyl.

After seeing this CR MINI, I'd go with getting them wrapped. Looks just as good as paint and it seems much easier to do.

If I remember correctly the emblems do leave a hole when removed. Might actually be two holes per.

Getting them wrapped will be more expensive for sure, but they'll resist rock chips much much much better.

Judging by his rear tails, I highly doubt thats the case.

Yes, you are right. Removing the Mini emblem leaves two holes. The emblem has two prongs to aid in mounting it straight.

If you're interested in getting the emblems wrapped, Lyle does offer a core fee so you can just leave your current emblems on and have him make your custom ones. Once the custom emblems are finished he'll mail them to you and you can remove your factory ones at that time to replace them with the custom ones. Then, mail the factory emblems back to Lyle and he'll refund the core fee! That way, you don't need to drive around with two (or four if you remove the back emblem too) holes in your Mini

I actually don't have the white turn signal factory option. Vic is right - I don't have them on my tail lights. Others have said that with the white turn signal factory option, you still have and can see the orange bulbs.

What we did was go in through the rear of the light, unscrew everything, and remove the orange lens. It's a little tedious to do but you don't have to crack the the headlight open to remove the lenses. Here is a link to a tutorial I found on NAM on how to do this...

Thanks,
Celia

i cant tell but did you get them done in flat/matte black? I love how the flat colors contrast the glossy paint.

got them in satin which is flat enough to match the wheel arches, and still match with the glossy OEM JCW grille surround :-)
