What have you done to make your MINI "yours". I know this has been done before but we get new members all the time. From mild to wild, let's see what you've done.
I added my own side stripe and a UK name plate. I guess that would be mild.Show me your stuff.

Thanks, MB

D-mini-ero,
That is one tastefully done MINI. I especially like the roof graphic. Nice job.

How about this for a cosmetic mod?

Before (The day I picked it up):

Present:

Cosmetic mods:
Mini cooper bumpers with chrome strips, blacked out marker lights.

Hey vdubdoug,
That's nice. Subtle yet distinctive. You should do the boot latch cover in chrome since that seems to be your theme. I had to look twice to see what was done.

So far we're seeing the mild but tastefull mods( and I'm enjoying them ) but don't we have some wild ones to see. BTW there's no such thing as an ugly red MINI.

All very well done-thanks for posting

Minzilla-
Great side stripe Cooper S design-unique and the first of it's kind, a real trend setter and it looks like it came from the dealer- overall a sporty look.

vdubdoug-
Your switch of the bumpers is totally confusing to the uninitated. It's wonderfully done. You got them guessing if you have an MC with the bonnet scoop and dual exhaust tip added or an MCS with chrome bumper accents. The S-lites give it away in my book. And the blacked out side markers are nicely done. Bravo.

d-mini-ero-
Your car is so nice. Don't do too much more- at least from the outside. Don't fuss with perfection. You should have a window sticker that says "built by mother nature at the BMW/Oxford plant"

Ants-
Your MC in CR/W with aero grille and rally lights is ready to roll in the next IJ movie. Who says the cooper is a girlie car? Nonsense.

Harmini, Miniclo, and L.Mini,
we need pics of your cars too, and lets not forget Wicked Wanda- the best is yet to come?

JIVANIVAN-
I like your name, plates and windshield decal. Your wheels are beautiful and perfectly match your wicked MC.

I just put my name near the side markers, like how pilots put their names on the planes

My rain sensor decal, which I might take out since the rain sensor won't work because of this

and lastly, my license plate

Hi Doug,

So you've got me guessing too... How did you mount the chrome bumper strips as the mounting tabs would have no holes to clip to?

Cheers,

I purchased a set of regular cooper bumpers and my Friends body shop paint them. I then spent a couple of hours (a weekend) swapping the bumpers. over. It is a fairly easy task, but the rear is tuffer than the front.
Go here for the pictures:

Okay, got it. I was looking for a cheaper/easier alternative to mount the bumper strip to my current S bumper. I think I will hold out. But nice job!

Cheers

Thanks L,

Doug sent me a big template, I guess I was supposed to make it smaller, but too late works out for me, although it is a big signature. I'll probably change it when I get my Whalen. I noticed you changed your signature too. Very nice tail lights and I like the text you used to type your name.

Agro - I love the antenna eye ball. hahahaha. it fits with your license plate. I wouldn't mess with you just by seeing the antenna.

Sum Won - Whoa, what exactly did you paint? I seen you have the area around the headlights painted. Lookes very cool.

d-mini-ero - I like your version of the MINI logo on your roof.

Hey SumWon.....
How did you get Cordoba Beige sport seats? Are those aftermarket or is your MINI Euro-spec or something?
I'm pretty sure it's not Euro-spec considering you have U.S. DOT reflectors on your wheel arches, but then the Cordoba beige throws me off..
Unless I'm the only one that doesn't know that you can now order Beige sport seats on 2003 MCS's...

Looks good!

Wow, those are some great looking MINIS! You guys are so talented and have great taste.

I just ordered the Whalen Shift Machine as my first modification. It's gorgeous and everyone on this site raves about it. I got the polished with the MINI wings #1. So what if it gets hot! I have the MINI windshield screen, so that should help.

I have a DS/W MCS, Premium, Sport, Cold Weather Packages. I wish I'd found this site before ordering, I probably would've done a couple of things differently. I didn't get the bonnet stripes though they were included. I've seen some aftermarket ones that I like better.

What I'm interested in now is tinted windows, anyone know the law in PA? Also a good place to get them done? Philly or South Jersey are convenient for me. I also spend part of my week in CT, near Norwich. The casino area.

I would also like the perforated sunscreen film thingie for my sunroof, I'm thinking of a checkered flag pattern. Where can I see some choices on this/get more details on this?

You people are awesome, I'm really enjoying the site!

Hey Tonto,

I feel the same way. If I knew about this site beforehand, I woulda done things alot differently too. I would've saved me alot of money.

I'm not sure about the laws on tinting in PA, but for your roof try Cooper Flags
