>> Hey SumWon.....
>> How did you get Cordoba Beige sport seats? Are those aftermarket or is your MINI Euro-spec or something?
>> I'm pretty sure it's not Euro-spec considering you have U.S. DOT reflectors on your wheel arches, but then the Cordoba beige throws me off..
>> Unless I'm the only one that doesn't know that you can now order Beige sport seats on 2003 MCS's...
>>

Some were asking about tint laws.
Here's a breakdown from state to state.

I can't believe all of the tasefully done mods I'm seeing. If you're still driving a 100% stock MINI, you're missing out on a chance to flex your creative muscles. I appreciate all of the post, but I'd like to see more.

Davbret: for my front turn signal lights, I have silver bulbs that still flash amber but they look white from the outside, you should get a pair...remove as much contrasting color as possible...it looks mental!

your car looks fantastic!

Nice cars everyone.

Davebret your headlight trim is growing one me.

Pooky13. How much does the JL stealth box cost and how much room does it take up? I want a little more punch in my system but I need the luggage space since I travel for work.

Keep the mods coming

Hi,

The JL audio stealth box costs $499.00 with 10 inch sub already in the fiberglass body. Can only be purchased at a JL audio dealer though.
You can probably get it a bit cheaper if you have it installed by a pro audio shop.
You will need a good amp to power this thing!

davbret...could you please describe a bit your audio setup, particularly the boot setup. what subs, amps, eq, x-over, etc. and where/how they're setup. i'm debating between plain and simple, ie. jl mini stealthbox, and full-out custom, ie. custom enclosure with amp rack.

thanks

>>vdub, On blacking out the side markers, did you use a film, or what? The car looks great.

I used Plasti-Kote Bumper Black spray paint. I sprayed a couple of light coats on and it seemed to do the trick. I masked of the reflectors with masking tape and newspaper to preven overspray. I also lighty scuffed the reflectors so the paint would have more bite. The whole process took about an hour.

Pooky,
Hmmm I am thinking i might be able to have soemthing custom built with an 8" sub in a smaller enclosure and a small amp. I would luv to go with out a rear seat but I do not want the Race car Look when I am on the road and need to hid things in the trunk. I need to look deeper into this.
