The most important interior accessory

What would be the most important accessory for the interior for your mini? Im trying by this post to find different accessories that are really important, say like the flash light or the arm rest or what ever you think its important. Just make sure you say why you think its important!

the most important... Glove Box Organizer. It's pretty much useless without it!

The iPod interface would be next on my list - it makes using the ipod in the car thing a lot safer!

you can control the ipod via the MFSW so no need to thumb around with your ipod while driving.

For me, and maybe obvious for some, a fire extinguisher! I have one in every vehicle I own.

I would add the "LightInSight" windshield-mounted fresnel lens as well. Installs quickly, removable/reusable, and only costs about $15 shipped.

I'm in a full JCW R53, not a new MINI, but I thought it might be interesting to try to decide: which of my accessories aren't important? The anthracite headliner is the only purely esthetic feature, so I guess it would be the least important, but everything else I use just about every day: glove box organizer; the old cloth console pocket which goes between the downtubes under the toggles; the armrest w/ compartment for spare keys, pens, etc.; the R53 downtube type cupholder; the MFSW controls. The following might not be considered interior accessories, but I wouldn't give any of them up: auto dimming mirror; heated seats; rain sensing wipers; Harmon Kardon sound system; sunroof. Kind of like fingers and toes: can't think of which one I wouldn't want around.

I would also have to say the lightinsight.
It's so much better than stooping down or tilting your head to see traffic lights!

Since someone alrady said the Whalen ****, I'll go with the Light-In-Sight thingy for your windshield. Makes it easy to see traffic lights out of view above the car.

Best $13 I ever spent on my MINI

The 1st thing I did to my MINI was tint the windows, limo in the back. Added the lightinsight too. The downtube mounted Cup Holder is a must for my daily driver.

I know I shouldn't be asking questions here, but I would love to know if someone could post pics of the light in sight in there MINI's? That looks really useful! However, I want to see what it looks like in a R56 before I buy it.

Most useful thing for me...deff. the MFSWheel. I love not having to play with the radio, volume, cd skipping, etc. My first car with this option and I love it!

You'd be surprised - I have a convertible, and even with the top down, I'm amazed at how often the top of the windshield hides the traffic lights perfectly.

I'm so glad to just catch this thread. I'm putting my order in for this right away! I've been tired of not being able to see the lights overhead.

Does anyone know of a larger cup holder out yet for the 2007 MINI's?

My vote is the lightinsight. It would probably make a good Christmas gift too.
