Still i think we should all be driving correctly and stop at a correct distance before the traffic lights rather than purchase sutch gagets!
I believe that Lightinsight doesn't allow, us sloppy drivers to become any better!

I guess the sports button wouldn't count since it is standard.

I would vote for the Euro parcel shelf.

That would have been my first suggestion too, except that this is the 2nd-gen MINI forum - I don't know that the have a Euro Parcel Shelf available to them.

Do you mean the Rear Parcel Tray Storage System?

If so, what do you like about it? What do you keep in it?

Edit: I got to that link by going through the links for "07+ Cooper S". However, the page says, "MINI Cooper Accessories : MINI Cooper Parts : OutMotoring :: 02-06 Cooper S" in one place and "Fits these MINI models: 02+ Hatchback" in another.

There's a rubber mat in the shelf to keep items from sliding around, and it's a very convenient place to stash things like sunglasses, wallet, cellphone, etcetera, keeping them mostly out of sight, yet close at hand.

wow, I wonder if the R56 has a euro parcel shelf....looks really convenient!

i pick the MFSW (convenient to change stations/tracks) and although many hate it, the center arm rest - my arm would get tired quickly if I didn't have it to rest on.

Any iPod connector. The MINI interface is great if you have the Nav Package... anything else is fine if you don't.

I went looking for one (after seeing it mentioned in this thread), but didn't turn anything up. Can anyone else confirm my (lack of a) finding? Better, can anyone link me to a place where I can purchase this for the R56?

I've got too many good ones to restrict myself to one!

1. Light-in-sight: I'm 6'4" and this is a blessing!

2. Downtube pad from MyMINI.com - Again with the 6'4" thing... the downtube was killing my leg after 20 minutes in the car before I installed this gem.

3. Window tint: I put 30% tint on all the windows and limo tint (95%) on the sunroof, which was a blessing with the sun from our Texas summers.

4. Greyscale Union Jack gauge faces from Design Creations. Just too cool!

5. Pedals from Ultimate Pedals - I got the extended MINI gas pedal and the brake/clutch pedals for a Ferrari (better shape). I can adjust the brake to gas distance by moving the brake pedal left and right, making heel-toe shifting much easier for Auto-x or the track.

Was it difficult to install? do you have to take the dash or console apart to get to the back of the stereo?

Thanks,

Ron

Thanks,

there is an aux port under the toggle switches that you plug the cable into. you don't have to take the dash apart to get to the back of the stereo

Interesting that the Lightinsight gets so many accolades. In AZ they put lights on all 4 corners of intersections as well as overhead so they are never out of view. You can't manage to get in a situation where you can't see one.
My vote for the wood shift **** by Robin Casady. I use it a lot every day!

Perhaps every time you shift?

Ear plugs - to cover the sound of the rattles and improve the sound of the HIFI. Second choice: The colored interior LED lights (I have blue).

Here, most lights are positioned well. But many that are stung over the intersection via cables, or worse, huge poles, are not visible through the windshield if you are first in line, unless you rest your chin on the dash.

That's what I said. Here there are no lights strung on cable. There's one on a pole and one at each of the 4 corners, so you can see 5 lights from all 4 directions. I've never even thought about it being a problem.
