I assume that it's like the scoop which has the signature under the gel-coat....so it wouldn't be removable if you ordered with the sig.

It is a sticker, it can't be removed since it is underneath the final coat.
I stated earlier, and it may be possible if there are enough interested?
To have a run made without the sticker.
I know currently they have five wings set aside for NAM so all of those will be badged.
I must say, I really do like the badging on th rear wing.

It's actually pretty easy to do and most definitely necessary.

"Definitely Necessary"

Sounds like the title for a Steven Seagal or Arnold Schwarzenegger film. Now if we could only have them terminate the antics of the company named after the world's greatest living, yet unknown to most, artist.

I didn't think I did either....

Then I did this..

Air Diverter....

Same item as modified by me, note lack of circular emblem.

I think it's a much cleaner look without the advertising.

Nice job on the custom mod, I love to see people making their own parts.
I hate to say it but I'm not really a fan on the supports.
I don't even like them on the front splitters.
When I install my front lower splitter, I am running with none.
Respect on the custom work!

The supports keep the splitter parallel to the road. It's been my experience when installing the splitter with a Aero front the angle of the attach has the front of the splitter pointed upwards. The supports push the leading edge back down.

I see, thanks for the info.
I don't have the aero bumper, I was planning on mounting with washers for a wider support base.
Do you think the braces are needed on the "S" bumper...

Cool Gnat...no worries.
Will see how it goes come spring.
Don't want it to get messed up in the snow/ice.
There seems to be as many running with out the supports as there are with.
Thanks

Looks good Gnat. I think with our emblems you can just use a hair dryer to heat it up a bit and them peel it off. We know that many like the clean look and do not want to force them to show the brand if they don't want to.

Randy,

Unless ya'll have changed the process since I purchased mine I think you will find the decal is under a layer of clear, at least on this and on the DFIC. I had to have the DFIC redone as well as a ham fisted tech scratched it with a screwdriver.

I can understand the desire for branding, what I don't get is why the USS has a M7 logo embossed in it. Would that for the benefit of the insects I pass over during agricultural excursions?

Next to go is the Alta emblem on the rad hose. It is a sticker and with a razor blade can be peeled off. It just takes a steady hand a lot of patience.

When vendors start paying me or giving me free parts then I'll display their logos and let them use my car in their advertising.

Peter...if you read this...still broken hearted with every trip to the mailbox.

You could be rite as mine was a early version . The M7 on the USS was something added by the Mfg for us as a " surprise " for us and I agree that the ants must enjoy the view. My favorite bit of undercar detail is the polished exhaust system . I mean I would rather have that cost put into the performance but it is a popular feature for some reason.

As for vendor logos many share your feelings and I agree as well. On the other hand we have many that ask for extra stickers LOL. You can't win sometimes

Sorry for your broken heart but Peter has been wrapped up with schooling on the new rapid prototype machine for the last week and not on the board much at all. Give them a call if we owe you something .

Hmm. I would bet 99.5% of vendors for ANY product, including, cars, boats, washing machines, door *****, baseballs or whatever, put their names on their products. This would be called, advertising, and if you were to make a product, I would bet your name would be on it too.

If not more...

he says while typing on a keyboard that says Saitek, looking at monitors labeled Samsung, using a mouse with Razer logo, listening to music on an internet device that says SlimDevices, whose signal is passed to a pre-amp then amp branded with Audio Research over interconnects and speaker wires branded AudioQuest to speaker that have ProAc on the grill all sitting on racks labeled with Boltz

So yeah...I see it all the time but I'd rather not and if I have a choice on my car, that does have a Mini badge on the rear, I try to remove it cleanly.

Agreed
For what it's worth every m7 product with the exception of the scoop is branded!
Maybe a thread should be started "vendor branding vs. non/branding"
Hmmm....M7, oh yah... I don't own anything M7.

It's not off topic....we're discussing the removal of decals. PU and M7 both put their logo under a clearcoat....so the removal is the same

For those wondering.... I was speaking with Palo Uber and they will be offering the wing without the PU logo. They were going to shoot me a pic of the bottom with the new tape which is recessed 1/16th inch from the sides, and no recessed cented but complete bond, so theres no buckling.

Oh wait.....sounds like change!
