Wow that's one heck of a pod set up, how does he see anything, I thought mine was tight! :


Autometer Pro-Comp Boost & Oil Temp with Alta mount.... like my yellow tubing to match my body color?

If you can afford it, check out the AEM Gauges. I actually have my eyes set upon them. Digital readouts, very nice. Now I just need to figure out which pod I like best :impatient

thanks guys... i think ime gonna go fore the must original look, the autometer... i have the chrone package with chrome interior... maybe modifying an alta gauge mount? (cut it in half and make wider to fit the two gauges?) any experiance in fitting some kinde of chrome ring to mach the original gauges?

whats the difference with a mechanical and a electric boost? i kno the price difference is a big difference but anything else.. pros and cons of each?

The only real advantage I can think of for electric (electronic?) boost is that you don't have to worry about pinching the boost tube on its way to the gauge. But the tubing is pretty small and firm, so I would (and have, on a non-MINI) used the mechanical gauge.

I made this "tree" some time ago with
Autometer pro comp, ultra lite gauges
If you local "non chain" (kragen / autozone) parts store doesn't have them they are easy to order.
I think summit can get them






A night shot with modified bulb covers
I used the RED covers and a hole punch to make a hole in the end of each "mini bulb condom"
that made them a bit brighter and orange
