question about the toggle switch panel

the board behind it, for my extra toggle i bought, im gonna use it as a remote **** for my amp, for my sub. its going to spin, not toggle up and down like the windows, lock, fog, etc.

so, the board behind it is in my way. this is what i need cut out. if i cut thru what i have marked in red(the square) will i mess any of the other 5 switches up?

Another picture here (upside down from yours)

Of course be careful not to cut in to that track running just left of where you highlighted. It's one of the dash lighting tracks.

What I can't remember is what's on the other side of the PCB. I think there's nothing there, in which case "no problem"

On that newest picture you have ...
highest track drives the front fog lamp
next (going to hole by the arrows) is rear fog so you don't care about that one
next is front fog switch
the lowest two are passenger window up & down

If you have to cut through some, you could then solder a thin wire link - each track has a hole at each end so you have somewhere to solder in to. But put VERY LITTLE solder on the front of the PCB if you do this, or you might affect the switch contacts.

CAN they? Probably. WILL they? I'm guessing no unless you know the guys. The dealership I bought my 'previously owned' MINI from whined for quite a while about reprogramming the BC1 even though I had the new toggle rack (though it was not yet installed.)
