Should I suede my entire interior black?
i think i want to do this, and make my interior ALL black. heres what i would cover in suede for sure:
headliner, visors, A, B, and C pillars, side trim in the back, door panels (the outer part of the panel, and probably the inside of the little center storage part) and the dash. now, on the dash, im thinking of painting the airbag covers, etc (the whole middle part of the dash, around the gauges, etc) painting that gloss black, as well as the handle thing on the panels, the chrome door handles, the little tweeter grille things, the clock on the headliner, the gauge rings, the center of the steering wheel, and other little things to break it up (will have my body shop paint it so it looks professional)
what do you guys think?

I dig the idea of suede....i just think i would refine it a little instead of doing it all over. Moderation is key.
Lots of places sell burberry fake fabric for interior stuff.....they sell it by the yard. I know a few people who have gotten there hands on some for custom interiors. Just google search
Hmm i really want to know where to ger burberry shift boot and e brake boot if any one knows?

I did not think that this was "not liking the idea". You asked for suggestions and input and that is what I gave you. I would cover everything in black leather and create accents with the black suede(headliner, pillars, and maybe smaller pieces), but I would definitely do the doors, rear pannels, and other major pieces in leather.

The picture of that dash is frightening. Judicious use of alcantara (accents to a leather interior as some have suggested) is much better. But then again, you refer to an "old school" S-10, so maybe you like things over the top .
I have alcantara inserts in my seats and the headliner and visors are black alcantara, the pillars are carbon. The steering wheel will soon be replaced with a Sparco Carbon wheel.
Here is the requisite pic...

I don't know, I had Stitchcraft do my interior. I should add that the 37's are removed from the rear side windows now and the exterior is blacked out. Before I did that you could have said that my car was over the top too. Some still dislike the amount of carbon in the interior of my car . Being a cyclist I am addicted to carbon fiber. Racy not ricey to me.
To try to answer your question I would say that they removed the tabs on the reverse of the door handle ring forcibly (by cutting or some other method) they did replace them with small screws when reinstalling it. (I know from putting the exterior carbon door handles on.........more carbon! )
