Cool video, you're friend is very lucky. Most of those kinds of shows here in the States involve taking an old, beat up car & fixing it up, not new cars like that show.

Man, I just got done watching that video. I am speechless, that is exactly how a body kit should be done. I wish I was so lucky as to get my car done up like that. Tell your mate congrats! Now, I must add this to the budget for my turbo project(even though it is going to have to be last on the list with the wheels).

WOW, that's all I can say is WOW. The show was great. Not skeaking Germam some parts were hard to get in to, but the bottom line is just WOW.

One of the most awsome MINIs I've seen without going overboard. I would love to see the same thing in an Electric Blue or BRG.

Just awesome.

Yes, so true and they tend to make the car...Mmm really not my taste nor seems to consider original design into it when they "pimp" rides here in the states. (well, I've only seen few shows but they were all old cars and didnt look too good after, not for my taste)

Anyway Great Vid. & Mini. I am sooOOO jeaouls

It would be funny to see what Pimp My Ride would do to a MINI. Yo, we got you a rear seat delete and put a sharktank back there, 24" chrome spinners, and a dope 3-tone paint job. You got purple velvet seats, 50,000 watt stereo and a custom diamonique covered grill.

Yeah, I kinda figured based on the looks that the guys were giving her. But it was funny when she grabbed the rear fender flares & said "Ooohhh, Love Handles!"

The only English in the whole thing & it's "Love Handles". Too funny!

OK so I know that this has been dead for a while, but has anyone come up with a solution to a wide body in the States other than the transformation seen in the video? Anyone interested in making those fenders from the green concept?

We need a widebody that looks killer...I know RMW is working on one and someone else has a secret project bruing...

My goal for it would be: matched with OEM(aero kit if preferred) bumpers, aero side skirts pulled out like they did with the Orciari and fenders either blended in like Coen's friend or just flares like the concept car. I also want to fit 9"+ wheels...

I still say 'boo' to full wide bodykits because I'm not a fan of bodykits. I still want wider flares that look like the OEM ones just slightly larger. That way the few of us that are already running 8.5"s and 9"s can move up to 9.5"s and 10"s

I was working on widening a stock set for my R50 but ending up selling it off. I've got a spare arch for my clubman but haven't gotten to work on it yet.

Rally, what about the clearance behind the flare? I will have to take a good look tonight when I get off work, but Do we need to widen the body as they did to have wheel travel or will flares allow for that travel? I hope that you can understand what I am asking about.

Rally what are your feelings on the Konigseider fenders-flares being molded into the stock bumpers and body panels? I think that they look pretty close...just would need to figure out a side skirt solution...

Do you think that someone could pull off an "OEM+" job with this combination?
