Pooky Jr. got her windows tinted on Sunday! Her 3 rear windows, sunroofs, and windshield visor are all 5% limo tint. Her front side windows are at 50% only to avoid getting a ticket. She looks pretty damn sexy!

>>Limo Tint!

I do have a couple scratches here and there probably due to the transport from NY. I'm not trying to let it get to me though.

looks very nice

i live in ca, and i have 20% all the way around, though i gotta be careful around cops

how did you do the sunroof? did the tint over the factory tint?

lastly, did you think the factory tint wasnt sufficient, is that why you did it?

i just never hear of people getting the sunroof tinted, thus i asked

tahnks

Red,

I live in the Bay Area, that's why I went with 50% on the front sides. Be careful to roll down your windows when around police before they see you.

The tint Pro did the sunroof the same way he did the other windows... it was kinda akward for him to do. I thought the sunroofs' tint was too light and I've got leather seats I wanna protect. It looks hella cool with the new tint though.

Hank,

Since I asked to tint all the windows the fella was nice enought to cut me a
break and he asked for $285, normally they would charge upwards of $600 for that at other shops, beware! But I talked him into $260 out the door.

Nomonstersinme,

Hi Girl, thank for the props. I love my air freshner, I bought it for $1.00 (clearance) at this mod shop in Santa Clara. I have a new Lavender Fields scented oil I use for it. The smell of the interiors leather and the Lavender makes you feel relaxed. Much like taking a bubble bath.

Doesn't it suck that tint shops' price range vary so much. Some years ago, I got my
Civic tinted for $150 now for the same car they were quoting me $300. I settled for this guy in Sunnyvale because of his many years of experience. The other shops quoted me upwards of $400+

Wow, that is bit much $300, now I am real curious to see how much they will charge in Danbury, CT.

wehn i worked for acura. i learned how tint shop works.

if you drive a nsx over to the tint shop, they quote you 600, if you drive a civic over they quote you 300. thats how they do business.

i took my acura cl type s over to the shop, they asked 350 for 5 windows. i said, how about 130. they said cash? i said yes. they said done.

just like everyting in life, its about barganaing

maybe cuz i am asian and cheap, it helps

hahaha!! I actually got the quote from this guy over the phone, then got him to drop25 bucks. But that's all he would drop...it's okay, I figured it's better than $600.

Pooky13-
I'm staring at your pictures and the amps look like the *** generator in the back to the future car- well sort of.
Too bad they are not covered by a see through cover. It's too nice to cover up completely that is.

Also- folks take a look at her toggle switches- see anything unusual? Yes he has all her switch positions filled!
That is right- the sub woofer bass volume control is sitting in the usually empty toggle switch position in the middle.
And what is that Blue thingy???

Ahh. Lavender. Like a bubble bath in your MINI! Such luxury. I guess that is what people are doing behind their 5% limo tints. I always wondered what they did. Now I know. That is- in the MINILimo. Hey they should make a MINI Limo- great idea. Carries 5 people!!!! In style of course.

I needed to cover it up (stealth) as there is a lot of idiots out here who would like to get more than a closer look at my system. I turn off the radio each time I get in a parking lot too.

My audio advisor Theo asked where I wanted the volume control dial...I knew exactly where I wanted it. (stealth)

The Blue thingy is my baby Teddy Bear "BLUE" he's one of my mascots, the other hanging on the passenger seat headrest, "SPANK," my stuffed gorrilla.

Yes Siry-Bob I am! I'm Filipina and Puerto Rican mix (mutt). Exotic enough that most people think I'm of Hawaiian, Samoan or Mexican. I never frown at what folks think my ethnicity may be. I smile and ask them to guess first.
