Looking for a Plastic Nut...

Hoping that someone has an extra blue nut that's used to secure the OEM parcel shelf to the dash. I've attached a photo of the nut I'm talking about. Thanks for any help.

I bet you could go to the hardware store & find what you need. It won't be the same exactly, but that really doesn't matter. Just as long as a screw will hold in it.

I picked up a half-dozen at the dealer recently. I believe they were about $0.40 each. Should be a part they keep in stock too as they are used all over the place to keep things together.

A Nut....

Thanks for all the help and recommendations. The reason I haven't gone directly to my dealer is that I live in Birmingham, AL and my dealer is MINI of Nashville, about 3 hours away. I thought it might be simpler to have one mailed to me but now it looks like I'm headed to Nashville this weekend to see my daughter who is in Law school at Vandy. I'll drop by M of N and try to pick some up. If that doesn't work out, I'll contact some of the forum members next week. Again, thanks to all and I appreciate having such a great MINI family to work with. Happy Motoring!

You should call ahead to verify they have it in stock. If they don't, they can order and have it ready by the time you drop by.

A Nut....

I plan on doing that tomorrow. I printed out the figure with the part number from one the earlier links and will call M of N in the morning. Motor On!
