I was wondering if anyone with pepperwhite has changed the color of their mirror caps. If you have, could you post pics? I would like to change mine but am not sure what would look good.

 

Looking at your car, I'd go chrome.

But I have chrome, so maybe I'm biased

 

If you check my gallery, there are some pics of Scoop having a playdate with a MY/W MC. You can see her chrome mirror caps!! Since those pics were taken, she has added more bling. . .gas cap (forgotten by factory) chrome exterior (forgotten by contrite and VERY helpful MA and added later) and chrome bonnet scoop. I like chrome!!!!!

Black or silver could look sharp, or the orange if you have a sidewalk package. . .

 

Yes Ladies, agreed... chrome, black & white are my favorites. Had black mirror covers and switched them to chrome plus installed a chrome scoop. Thanks to all the helpful advice here you can do it yourself. My dealer gave a dirty look upon learning this but "whatever"...

Great repair job on your car Melissa---I admire your dedication to doing what you did...making that journey. And YOU, mama... heh heh heh... we need to get that scared young "Merried Hopeful" out of the Oxford plant and into the rear seat of his Mini...

I was kind of wondering if anyone has gone chili red and would have photos. I am looking for something that pops!

 

I have a set at the body shop waiting to be painted orange to match my stripes.

 

I picked up a set of Pepper white mirror caps which I switched out for my black caps and really like the look. It's all about being a little different then the next. I should have some picks to post today. In my Mini group there are 4 other Blk and Pepper white cars and two all Pepper white Minis. I wanted to be somewhere in the middle and different then the next.

I've also done black out belt line tape and some Lagston custom ruby red tail lights and satin blk light rings. Next is blacked out door handles and gas cap and I'm done. Right !
