Question about clear tails....

We had a MINI meet this weekend in Vegas and I noticed a blue MINI had clear tails...which I also have (but have yet to install...hence my question). I noticed when they went in reverse, the reverse light was from the bottom of the bumper (where my rear fog is). I have a 2006 MINI and my clear tails are of the 3 distinct bulb location variant. When I go in reverse, where will my reverse light be? Will it be in the taillight? Do I need to rewire my rear fog?

Confused...can anyone clarify???

THANKS!

The reverse light in the bumper was on an earlier model. Yours should still be in the same place as they are now.

have you looked at the clears that you have? Is there a space for reverse lights? or did you accidentally purchase tails that were made for a vehicle pre-2005?

There are two types of clear tails, right? The single clear lens where you can't tell where the different bulbs are, and then there's the clear lens where there are 3 areas of distinct bulb locations visible from the exterior.

The car I saw had the latter, which is what I have. Isn't that second style the most recent one?? How do I know if any of those bulb locations on the style I have is a reverse light?
