I think only 3 colors can pull off the "nekkid" look nicely. JB, DS and PS. I say leave it stripeless, it looks awesome.

 

After seeing Tig's pic above, I'd say CR can pull it off, too !

Actually, I think an "S" can pull it off but a Just-a-Cooper needs the stripes.

Tig's car looks great nekkid 'cause of the aero kit, chrome ext., driving lights, intake scoop, etc . . . though I love black stripes on CR, I think a car like Tig's might look too busy with them, and it looks better as is


tig - are those aftermarket chrome cowl grills?

i thought my pw mini looked great without stripes. until i put on the stripes (as shown in my sig) when looking at older pictures of my mini. it looks NAKED!!
(did the stripes myself) saved myself some money and had fun!!

but sigh. i keep seeing CLEAN sexy black mini's. maybe i should trade mine in for a black one. and get the satisfaction of a CLEAAAAAAAN detail job...NOTTTT!!
i love my pw. ( i can be a little lazy at times when cleaning and it'll STILL look clean!!)

Yep, IF... IF, I put stripes on Dr Evil, I'll do them myself. I did the boot stripes on the CR MC and it was eeeeeeeeeeeeasy.

I hear you... our PW MC is a breeze to keep looking good. Hides the swirl marks so well, I'm not even sure it has any !!

But when you polish and wax that Jet Black... he's an eye-turner !!
