Is that the R56 version? All of the factory shift lights I've seen for the R53 go on top of the dash, not on the steering column. Looks good, regardless.

They have one for the R53...or at least in on the R53 JCW catalog, it goes on the top of the dash over the speedo.

I can post the part number on saturday if you like.

Ok I got the LED's Installed today...Not something i would been able to do myself, BUT some of you might be able to.

They look great IMO...at start the lights come on and go thru a test cycle..then a flash! just like on the Diablo.

I have them set up to work at 5500RPM's But you can set them up to come alive at 7500RPM's which I will when the JCW stage I software goes on early August.

I have 2 videos I am uploading right now..will post the links in a few.

One more coming home .. I bit hard to drive and record with one hand and look for cops all at the same time ...but as you can see the lights work at 5500 rpm's otherwise you only get a green light which mean GO! next track date I will wear a helmet cam hehehe ...where do I get one.

That is great! Still wish they made one for the steering column for the R53..Anyway you could take the lights off and fit them to the R53 column?

minimarks: Why not? If you have some good dremel skills. But the harness is different for the R53, vs the R56. Might have to buy the R53 one, then mod it to work in the intended location. If you do it, let us know how it went!

Bhatch: Yes I do! I can't scan it this weekend, but I might be able to fax it on Monday. The kit is REALLY kool! I will be doing the installation how to this weekend (although I have a nursery to paint and a Red Sox game to go to!) Either way I can help you np! this is a KOOL part and can be adapted to 4-6-8 cyl, diesel too! I am going to do the base install, then something funky shortly thereafter. Stay tuned!

I've seen this last video of the adaptation of this shift light...

I have an R53 and i would like to install one of these in my works...i don't like much the other "central" version..is it possible or is it necessary to do some heavy bricolage...?
