Interior/Exterior "Police Interceptor" badge
"Police Interceptor" badge
So, I was "just browsing" at the Alta site ("I was just smelling the white powder, officer!") and saw a photo they have up of the back of a Mini with the "POLICE INTERCEPTOR" badge. I thought, How freakin' cool is that? Some Google magic and 10 minutes, and mine are on order.
The part number is XW7Z-5442528-AA. I ordered them from here, but really, and (cough cough) Ford dealership should be able to get them for you.
Makes a nice compliment, I think, the SUPERCHARGED fender emblems I already added (from the 1995 Buick Riviera, part number 25602037).

Supercharged badge looks like this:

Sorry for the darkness -- I'll look into re-shooting it tomorrow in the sunlight.
Here's the full car, in the Black Forest (from a few weeks ago).

And before I slapped on the new badge.

No lights, no siren -- just fuzzy dice. She cleans up pretty well.

Sorry but I don't need anything on the back of my MINI to taunt the police & give them a reason to pull me over or not let me off with a warning
& to be honest I don't 100% get it :impatient Does it mean to cut-off the police or to stop the police or catch the police

No, it's the markings from the version of the Ford that the cops use to use as their chase vehicle for high speed pursuits. The Ford model was a total sleeper -- looked boring on the outside, but was crammed full of top end speed. It's what the cops used to intercept the bad guys -- think Mad Max 1.
Found another photo I had of the supercharged badge in the sun.

PB -- yeah, sticky back. And come on -- it's Germany, not LA. It should be there for a while.
And really, what's going to **** them off -- this badge on the back, or the tinted windows?
Besides, I drive like an old woman.

Nah i dont think they will care, they might even think its funny. There were police interceptor mustangs back in the late 80s early 90s. If one of those cars were driving around they wouldnt say anything cause thats the way the car came.
I'm not saying that the badge is against the law, but it may imply a certain attitude behind the wheel. BUT, if folks are driving like grandmothers, who can argue with that.

kinda
There's no getting off with a warning once they see that.
