I got my police emblem today. I'm going to paint in Bronze to match the rest of my car since I have very little chrome left. Here is a pic.

All the MINI badges are double stickied. They'll come off with dental floss.

Does it come with white doors and roof if I have a JB MINI?

Now "Police Intercepted" (above the drivers side gutter) might get a good laugh from the local enforcement.

Think one will fit on the side of a V1?

Some pointless history on the Police Inteceptor...

it used to be a different motor, I think it was a version of the 428 in the late 60s. Now, the motors are the same, with the additon of a water to oil cooler and a baffle to keep the pressure low in the heater core so it doesn't spring a leak when the cars are running high speed persuits. And they run Silicon hoses. The reason the guts aren't any different is because it's a biatch to smog another motor, so they put some durabiltiy features in but the power isnt' any greater.

I learned about all this because I had a SSV (Special Service Vehicle) 5.0 from a rolled CHP car in my Mustang. All cop cars are SSV cars. IF you want to know more (not that there's really any need to) there are forums on SSV cars.

The CHP 5.0s used to be easy to find. Now they are prized cars! Who;d of thunk it.

Matt

Too bad you didn't get one. Then you'd qualify (even more) to be on here.

My eyes! My eyes!

Why of why would I click on any link from you, ever again?

And I have to say, that is the worst photo I have ever seen of you. But your wife still looks smokin' hot.

This might be along the same lines.....

Click to order! Althought, it'd probably need a HYBRID badge, too, just to confuse the hell out of everyone. An SRT8 Hybrid?

Awesome. Looks pretty good without the other lettering, too.

I've owned enought Chryslers to know I don't want their badge on my car. Even if it does have a Chrysler engine.
