WTB: Tow hook

I am looking for a blue tow hook, like this

I can't seem to find any in blue, just red and silver, I tried to search the threads for "tow hook", but it searched each word separately, so sorry for any cross postings.

This should be posted in the marketplace.

Not necessarily - he's not looking for one from a fellow NAM member, just for someone out on the web that sells them. Not everyone reads the marketplace threads after all...

That said, I've never seen them for sale in blue, sorry, just red and silver like you've found. If you find one let us know, OK? I think I'd go red if I ever got a hook like this (I used a red rubber-dipped OEM hook now), but I MIGH want to go blue instead because of my lighting.

Well the only one I can find in blue is from ebay. In the description it says to state the color wanted in the pay pal text box.

Yes thanks, I had found that, that is what picture I am using actually...

I wanted to try and support a MINI supplier rather some random on EBAY, also hoping shipping would not be so bad... EBAY sellers I have found, sell for cheap but then HOSE you on the shipping for the item. The ones that I have seen anyways... I believe shipping for that to Canada is about $30 US....

Thanks for your help. I know outmotoring sells one, but they are not doing blue anymore... so maybe I will have to go for EBAY.. it's been a while since I was hosed... :P

I had an extra $60 in my Paypal account so I tried them out - thanks for the link. I'll report back when I get it as to the speed of shipment and quality, but the hook looks like every other one I've seen. I got it in blue - what the hell, right?

Xiek, I'm assuming that the seller has more in-stock, since he just says to specify a color when ordering. Hopefully I'm not messing you up by doing so, but I assume that it won't. I can PM you with the results of this order if you want me to be the guinea pig for this eBay-er - just let me know.

Haha.. well on a "BMW tow hook" search on ebay there was two adds like that. I am looking at this hook (http://cms.mini-clubsport.com/index....d=36&Itemid=84) sent them an email about ordering since I don't read German lol.
on a side note ImagoX, I have a pic of my scoop grille at home, I'll send it to you when/if work ever gets done.

If you ever need something re-shipped, Xiek, let me know. I LOATHE merchants that rape people on shipping.
