Seat belt holders?

Anyone know where i can get some seat belt holders for the 07 MCS. I tried mini mania but they are on backorder. I am looking for a place that has them in stock.

On mine the "clip", the part that the belt slides through, seperates from the "base", the section under the headrest, almost every time I pull the seatbelt to use it regardless of how carefully I pull.

How do you avoid this ?

I ended up with a 2nd set of the new mini seatbelt holders. If you are interested I will give them to you for just what I paid for them. $35 plus shipping.

Don't waste your money...the angle that the belt goes through is wrong, so unless you pull very very slowly, the hinge unclips. Every passenger that has sat in my MCS has pulled it apart. This is an OEM MINI part, so one would think that it would be better designed, but it is not. I threw mine away.

i got mine through mini mania, and for what we are paying for these i probably should have gotten something else. This part receives a -5 on a scale of 1-10. I really wasn't impressed with the fit or the fact that they come un-hinged every time you pull on the belt.

Minspeed has them. They are poorly constructed, but I still like them. If you use your back seat a lot, they can be a pain, but you can just slide the belt out of the bracket before sliding the seat forward. Not only does that prevent them from unclipping (there's a push-in hinge), but it prevents the rear seat passenger from being hanged on the belt. Also, check out this: http://www.andoauto.com/hardware.htm.

That's it I give up! I took both of mine off after the passenger side one came un-clipped for the umpteenth time and now the clip part is missing. If anyone wants 1 complete holder and 1 base only you can have them but let me know soon because if there are no takers in the next few days I'm going to take pleasure in smashing them into tiny pieces with a large hammer.

After I responded to this post, I decided to do an experiment. I retrieved the holders out of the trash can in the garage, and epoxied the hinge clips. After letting the epoxy dry for a day, I re-installed the holders. So far, they have been fine....no un-clipping. I never quite understood why they were hinged in the first place.
