The ruby red film eliminates the amber blinker and inner chrome ring. The blinkers flash red which is still legal.










The film for DIY install is $55 shipped.

For the tail lights themselves (core charge/swap) runs $100 plus $150 core.

Very nice Lyle. I thought about doing this too before I went to all the hassle of converting my orange turn signal tails to clear ones haha.

 

So with the Non-Clubman tails we could just wrap the outer clear lense right?... those still in the works?

 

Yes, the R56 tails can be done as well.

I'll be working on a custom cut-out for the reverse light on those shortly.

 

How difficult is it to replace the rear lights? I cracked a lens on my R57 convertible and want to replace it. There is a chrome piece which surrounds the light...I assume this pops out and the whole light assembly can be installed....am I making this too simple? Help!!!!

 

The rear lights are very easy to remove/replace.
Shoot me an e-mail and I can send you a link to our instructional tail light ring removal.
I also have an OEM passenger tail light available in great condition (if you need the passenger tail).

and i just got a ticket for my smoke film covers.. do you make a ruby red r56 wrap yet?
how do you (how would I) incorporate the smoke on the clear?

 

We don't have the R56 ruby red overlays available yet. This is something that we can create soon. It will have the cut out for the reverse lights.

We would send the smoked section for the reverse as well.
