I changed the fluid in my 04 with Midland transmission today. The problem I have is i jacked the front up and drained about 2 quarts of transmisson oil out but can only pump about 1.2 quarts back in before it overflows from the filler hole. Any ideas why or what the best jacked up angle of the car should be?

The answer to my own problem was that to get all the fluid back it, it should be level. I decided to put in 2.3 quarts to give it extra lubrication, since the extra fluid that it has been riding around with to date has only helped it.

Yes, it should be level when on a rack or on the ground as much as possible.
