kreative: Sorry for not getting back to you sooner. (Was busy working on my MINI!) The alignment (other than camber in the front) should be spot on. I am going to have the alignment done, after the wheels go on later this week. Lots of new photos etc. coming! (Doing a large audio upgrade right now in the garage taking up my time.)

Thanks again!

Just had mine aligned Friday and the alignment specialist told me he had no problems and everything went right back to factory specs. Should be not be any tire wear problems.

I have some sitting in my garage. Thanks for the write up!! My question is, should I just install them? Or should I wait until I have a Rear Sway bar, endlinks, and control arms? I was looking at having all of that in the spring. Should I "Just Do It" or hold on? Thanks again for the write up!!

I googled!! But are the specs going to be the same as the 06's? I can't seem to find anything on the '07. I appreciate the help. Or you could save me some trouble and just tell me the torque specs. Thanks again!

Yes the specs for the 07 should be assumed to be the same as the GP 2006 model. I simply don't have the torque specs to share! I generally only break out the wrench when it is critical anyway (I know stupid old mechanic habits!)

Thanks again!

Bumpity Bump! I am going to have these (all the "howard" installs in a how-to thread soon and then stickied but until then)

Also, the H&R springs are REALLY nice on the R56. I have the non-sport suspension and I couldn't be happier with the results of this installation. In stock too! Feel free to ask any questions or concerns!

Hi Adam and thanks for the awesome write up - just a quick question. I'm extremely new to modding, especially from a suspension stand point. In order to achieve the drop would I need only these springs or are there other H&R parts which I'd need to buy as well?
THANKS

You don't need any additional parts at all. Just a good alignment when you are all done. Nothing special there needed as well.

Thank you again for the compliments! Always happy to help!

They do look really good. I swear everytime I have him all washed up, it rains or something. He is on the priority list though for new photos.

That is them. But I run them in black face polished lip. Kool thing is they are light @ 17 lbs, and my whole car is not silver, black and chrome. Looks really nice (yes a photo would help!) I might just snap a quicky when the sun comes fully up to post since folks have asked.

Be back soon!

Here are a few crappy quick pics in the rain:

I will take some better ones soon. But this gives you an idea what the springs and wheels look like together. I REALLY like the look of this car. Just need to get the amber off the front.

Will do! I took the darn thing apart again on the two nice weather days! Raining again all this week. Hopefully this weekend I will take some other photos. I am nearly done with my personal mod list for this car and really need to get the photos up and crackin!

Now I am hatching plans for my clubman and the GP!!!!!

Thanks folks!
