The Italian Job
Doc, I hope to make it to the after the movie cruise. I should land @ 8:15 and could be back in town by @ 10:00. Can you call me after the movie ends and let me know the plans? I'll PM you my #.
I figured the theaters wouldn't handle all the MINIacs out there so I let Judy know that my 2 seats are available.
Hope to see you guys later!

I'm leaving tomorrow night, but I'm leaving my car at the airport. Unfortunately, I'm leaving the BMW there so I would have to go home to Hawaii Kai and motor out to where you guys are. I think it's do-able!

Yes yes thanks Darrel, Judy, Aka, Carrie and Justin. Tonite was fun wish I could have gone to the cruise through waikiki. Well I guess I'll see you guys again on Sunday. The movie was great, that old skool mini was fun to see
Yes! Mahalo to MINIUSA, MINI Hawaii and Art House for a great evevning.
The gathering before the movie, after the movie at Fisherman's Wharf and the rally through Waikiki was fun. Maybe the Art House can show the original IT on a weekend and then we all rally afterwards during the day....just a thought.
Justin was doing Mini training on the mainland?!...hmmmm, could it be training on a JCW S
Many many many thanks to the crew at Mini of HI, MINIUSA, paramount pictures, Wallace theaters, and
Of course Sylvia for a wonderful evening - a true mini experience and loads of fun.
The picture was great- the original mini was killer
I'm looking forward to the next mini event and hope everyone had fun seeing so many minis in one spot- I think there were about 60 minis over at Fisherman's wharf. We took over the lot.

MINI greetings,
The "IJ" event was a great success and we thank you MOTORERS
for your time and support. This is just a beginning of many more
MINI events. Wel'll see ya at the dealership on the 8th.

I know many dealers across the country had premieres last night, but I'll bet none of them was as good as ours.
The true enthusiasm, commitment and friendliness of the Mini of Hawaii staff can't be surpassed anywhere! Thanks so much, folks.
You're really there for us.
So how did everyone like the movie??? I enjoyed it much more than the drive in premiere at Paramount, because of the reactions of the audience. It was much funnier in a theatre full of people, and the action scenes more exciting.
And thanks to everyone who came on the post-film rally. It sure made me proud to be a Mini owner.
The movie on the 8th will be the original Italian Job. I'm bringing the UK DVD and my multi-region DVD player, so the picture will be sharp and clear with great sound.

From the postings I saw that IJ had many showings for the mini groups across the US.
I thought that our Hawaii version was extra special- Nicely done with "Aloha style"
We could not ask for more. Why do we need to start a club when we already have a "club"?
I know- because we could be more organized to do that much better.
Got another idea- how about a MINI beach luau! OOOH
Maybe we could meet somewhere and rally out to the northshore together. Do a potluck luau?
I enjoyed it, maybe there will be an IJ2! More daring heists featuring 5 MINIs. More treasure-more MINIs? Right.

Alli and I really enjoyed the movie. I thought after the intial scene it kinda bogged down a bit... but then picked back up. Once the action moved to LA it was fun to watch. Got a real kick out of Seth Green ("Napster"
. It was a fun movie to see, but I wouldn't put it up there with "Battleship Potemkin" in the significant movies category!

Saw this on Roadfly board about IJ showing in Atlana. It's a vid that has a lot of work into it : http://homepage.mac.com/dlittle/iMovieTheater15.html
