Don't you have an alta intake with metal box? If so one option is to use a hacksaw and notch an opening by cutting and bending down the metal to make enough room.

Otherwise that would be metal to dremel down- might take awhile unless you have some tip that cuts metal well.

Anybody interested in Oil cooler DIY? Colder oil for the engine the better, same as the thermostat, Moss MINI are selling them for $189+-+S/H. I'm curious if anyone had this on their MC's.

Anyone feedbacks are appreciated.......

I did a solo DIY today - swapped my front H&R Coilovers for Bilstein PSS9 Coilovers (will do the rears tomorrow as I only had a few hours to do it). Kind of silly (I should've known) but, while I've done many suspension changes on my own, this was the first time I used power tools (thanks so much the_beastmaster ) - OMG!, it's so much easier! Stupid me, now I know......after all these times Bryan has been telling me.

Eastsidemini stopped by to borrow my belt tensioner tool and was telling me about his stripped oil plug. I lent him my Craftsman round bolt removal sockets so I hoped they worked!

With the tools and your car up on jackstands, it should have taken you about 30 minutes?

I hope you meant per side. I did have a slight delay as the H&R Coilovers' shock was snuggly seated and I had to rubber mallet it out. Whack-whack-whack...but everything else went smoothly. Seriously though....thanks again for the power tools.

No, I meant for the entire front. That's about how long it took Gerard and me to do the fronts. However, that is with the use of a 2 post lift and air powered spring compressors. The PITA was the measuring and adjusting to get the car even.

You two are much faster than I then.
