Anybody owns a GPS Navigator made by Garmin (model 2620/2610) or Magellan 500/700 GPS
NAvigator either for rent /for sale. (brand new are way too expensive) I needed for my vacation to the mainland.

I find the Rand McNally GPS works great also, but far too many people can’t understand how to make it work.

Those two brands are the best on the market it has a built in SD card (2.2gig & 10 gig) and PC are not needed to
download the maps. Voice navigation, turn by turn directions and loaded with stuff.... hotels, ATM,parks
you name it.

I just got back from Hawaii and used my Palm tungsten, bluetooth gps reciever and Mapopolis software. Worked great.

Tungsten T-3 (I pref) cost 399.99 + bluetooth gps receiver with all the acessory @349.99 add the memory card 256meg $79.00 over all close to the price of Garmin 2620 (($989.00 + s/h). My concern with the palm pilot/HP ipaq/handheld PC is that all run with Windows. All my computers at home are all Macintosh. Imac and i-books, compatability are my biggest problem.
Thanks for the input though.......

I just sent you a PM. If you would like to use my iNAV you can use it no charge. The best on the market (only draback is the $$$).

will take you anywhere you want to go and no screen to get in the way.
