I'll be there early too, probably no later than 5:00, though maybe earlier.

It's pretty close to the MINI dealership. I just drive around alot until I see lots of BMWs, other sports cars, smell food or see a few MINIs lining up. Parking is sometimes tough so coming early is a nice thing.

BME Hawaii is 2 blocks behind BMW/MINI. The entrance to BME is right off Cooke Street on Kawaiahao. If you see the Imperial Plaza Townhouse entrance, you are right there!

Hey beast, is there anything we should do to prepare for the Tech Session's car inspection? For instance - remove wheel locks? Just wondering.

No need to remove wheel locks since the wheels are checked but not removed. If anything is broken or missing then repair it or restore it to working condition. The interior is not checked. Mostly mechanicals are looked at according to the checklist in your packet. There is no road test. Just a visual inspection with the car up on a lift. It's done pretty fast.

Also it is a nice time to see under your MINI and check things out. Bring a camera if you like. Check out all the rusted bolts under your engine bay. Mine were rusty within 2 months of ownership.

I see, OK then.

I've seen the underneath of my car many times - remember, I actually work on my car.

Guys, just run what ya brung! The cars will be put on a lift to check out the undercarriage so no need to take off wheel locks. Just say thank you to the techs at BME.

I know you work on your car. All the more reason to look at it with a lift.
Kinda hard to take pictures when you are crawling under jackstands.

Sure, as long as the paint doesn't come off.

Please learn the proper vernacular. The back of a MINI is a boot! A booty is a er, uhm.....never mind.

If you still need a volunteer car for the detailing demo, I volunteer Lucy. She may or may not be filthy that evening.

I think he means kbseto.
Or maybe on a bad rainy day keikilee could stand in.

A dirty MINI would work better like those infomercials.
dirty surface- wipe once, clean surface! OOOHHH AHHHH!
