Hi Folks,

I am moving to Maui in June 2013 and want to start a monthly Cars/Coffee meet for us Mini owners. How many are there of us? Please chime in if interested in this monthly meet-up. I also would like to have road trips (lol), car care meetings, and more fun stuff.

Skittles finally made it to the island! I took him on the road to Hana recently. So far, I have not seen another Coupe' here. Am I the only one??? I hope to meet other Motorers soon and get a club reformed again...

Contact those Maui owners by PM and do an informal meetup at a coffee shop then go for a short drive.

Coupes are new so on Maui there may not be many yet. On Oahu I see a few on the road.

 

I see a surprisingly large amount of Minis on Maui. I think its time to get our club going! I would like to have a Coffee and Minis Meet this coming saturday September, 28th at 9:30am. Lets meet at the Starbucks in Kahului on Dairy Road, in the Maui Marketplace. Here is the link to the location.

Good luck with your meet-

May I suggest the following which helped with our Oahu meet ups-

Make a little index card flyer letting MINI owners know that you are forming a club, meeting up, where and when and who to contact. Leave the flyer at the dealership and tell the sales staff you are meeting. Take the flyer and put it on the windshield of every MINI you see parked or hand it out to other MINI owners to pass out.

Another idea is if you have car shows (informal) you can show up and have the flyers to hand out.

 

Thanks for the tips! Maybe I planned this meet too soon....but if the four of us here still meet, we can all do a part in getting this club reformed!

If you can get a few MINIs together go for a drive and honk at every MINI you see on the road.

 

UPDATE: I planned this event too soon. Lets give it a few weeks as I want to contact the BMW dealership here and get more people for the first meet! Sorry to those that planned to attend. I think we should have the meet in 3 weeks maybe?

Oh bummers. I was able to switch my work schedule and got this Saturday off just for this event. That's ok, just pm the next planned meeting

You can check in with the Maui Dealership and let them know you want a Maui owners meetup and rally.

Hard to say if there are any from Maui that are following NAM. maybe but few post.
