hmmm, i think that the kakaako-eat-and-meet-my-microfiber towels event is a good idea.

based on my observations, seems like most people watch like 5% of the movies at the m&m's (while getting pizza or a drink)...otherwise, everyone is outside shooting the *****.

 

keep the kakaako event. who's bringing the booze?

Bring your own lunch (if you're hungry) and if you folks want to cruise afterwards that's up to you. Post if you're able to make it....or better yet, I'll post something in our Yahoo group to see who's able to make it. I don't want to end up at the park by myself!!!!!

I just went out to the park today and it is quite large with a narrow side near to John Dominis with a smaller parking lot but with a view of the ocean and a wider ewa side to the park with a grassy field and larger parking lot but no view.

I think we could try for the parking lot with a view and see how it goes. Maybe someone get a helium balloon to make it easy to spot. I should be there about 1230 if all goes well.

Anyone got any favorite music to listen to? Bring it.
Anyone want to throw a football or frisbee? Just be careful and not aim for the ocean. :evil:

DaKineMINI...It's off of Ala Moana Boulevard. If you are traveling east bound you turn right after Honolulu Ford, then follow the street all the way back. You'll see a big parking lot at the end of the street.

I checked my work schedule and find that I have to work until 12 on saturday. So I think I will try to be there but I'll likely be a bit late. I'll look for you all. Just listen for the quiet exhaust. I'll sneak up on you.
