minihune - That's good information to have. I believe it was posted on another forum last year.

If I remember correctly, we are in the Hawaii Region, but that is part of the South Pacific Region. So for anyone to place regionally, they would have to ship their car to California for races and place in them. I don't believe placing in Hawaii Region races will qualify. Perhaps MINI USA can enlighten us Hawaii folks on that issue. Anyone care to contact to Kevin Phillips? If we do qualify it would be great. Next step would be to start a MINI racing team and place the MINI USA logos on the cars.

I just thought it might be worth inquiring about since some MINIs did do well.
Hopefully more of us will give SCCA solo 2 a try.

hmmm, i thought awards were only for national winners but it says "regional" events as well....someone find out what this means :smile:
