Many of us found out yesterday that AKA from sales at the MINI of HI dealership will be leaving Hawaii to join his family in Texas. Since he has sold many of the MINIs out on the streets he is known to very many of us and will be missed for his friendliness, resourcefulness, and support.

I wish him and his family the best and success at his new work at a MINI dealership in Texas.

It is with a heavy heart that Aka is leaving MINI of Hawaii. He was THE MAN to go to for technical information. You had a question. He had the answer. He could even answer the questions the service advisors could not.

Sorry I teased you about going back to Texas. Even though I spent my time there in the middle of nowhere, I must admit that I enjoyed it. Texas people sure are friendly, and the cost of living is affordable! I gave very serious thought to requesting a transfer there.
