We meet at 9am so you are invited to join us. the dealership doesn't open till 10am.
Also the date is delivery if everything else happens so it might be but might not be.
So our invitation to join us for the rally is still open until the very end.
Plus I gotta lotta stuff to show you!!!!!

Can I come too? The Zippy is the one by Young St. and Piikoi right? Any idea how big the MINI group will be? I wonder if the dealer should do something.

Grrrr ... I just realized, I can't do the Oktoberfest run. I have a meeting that I must attend that morning at 10:00 a.m. (strange but true). This is especially disappointing because I am maybe at least half German (although I hadn't planned on wearing lederhosen or a Bavarian bar maid outfit or anything).

At least half german? That's more than nearly everyone on **** Hill within stone's throw from you, assuming there are no german nationals from europe hiding out in MINIlani that have found **** Hill.

I still have your stock knee bolster! You can pick it up or I can deliver. I hope you like your euro parcel shelf- it's like being in germany! Also hope your trip was a safe one. Welcome back.
I will attend the Oktoberfest rally and celebrate on your behalf. I was going to say I will drink a few beers for you but I don't drink so I will eat a few pretzels for you.

You can wear your outfit at the next autocross in October. I bet that would get some attention!

It's concours, not concourse. A concourse is what you find at the airport.

I'll be there at Zippys just to see everyone, but I won't be able to join you folks on the drive (my boss/son won't let me, plus my best friend is in town.)

I will be dropping off some towels that Bryan and Kyle ordered, so if anyone wants microfiber, let me know by Wednesday.

Yup, The_Beastmaster was indeed practicing his Clean Car Contest Judging yesterday. He spotted every particle of dust/dirt on minihune's car.....and if you know minihune, you know that the dust/dirt found on his MINI is usually not visible to the naked eye!

Island drive - Yes, certainly!
Clean Car Contest - Are you nuts???? Yes, certainly! And you thought I was sane? Shame on you.

Oh, yeah. It's not hard to find invisible dirt and grime on my baby. I drive my car everyday. The secret is to learn how to glue all that dirt down so it doesn't come off on the inspector's white glove. Neat huh?
I'm off to walmart to find some superglue. Wish me luck.

>>
>>So where is Wisteria Zippy's?

Wisteria is on the corner of King St and Piikoi. Zippy's is next door. It is @4 blocks Diamond Head from MINI and 1 block mauka (mountain).

Re: Clean car contest

Since there are participants whose cars are not as new as others, there is a handicap system based on the age of your car.

Can you elaborate?
Is the handicap based on time as in years or miles as in wear and tear?

Handicap will be based on model year of car and delivery date, if less than 1 year old. The older the car, the greater the handicap. This is to proved equal footing to all participants. After all, it wouldn't be fair to pit a 1 day old car against a 15 year old car, would it? Head to head competition with BMWs and MINIs. Prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places.
