I know it was decided last month that Mini and a Movie would be held on the 2nd Sunday, so as not to interfere with "someone's" race schedule, but now minihune says he won't be able to make it on the 10th. I would love to see his pictures from England ... would anyone be willing to change the Mini and a Movie to the 17th so minihune can regale us with English MINI tales and lots of pictures?

it would probably have to be moved to a later date as august's scca is on the 10th this month. http://www.hawaiis.com/scca has the schedule on the results page. i think the schedule on the first page is the 2002 one.

August 10 is the 6th race of the auto-x season...an avent that I would like to attend.
Go figure...when we move the movie date, so does autocross
I still like MINIangelD"s suggestion on the 17th, minihune should be back and there's no race on that day.

I would vote for after Aug 10 to meet for the next movie. I get back on the 12th and would like to come.

I won't be here for Aug. 17th as I will be at Pebble Beach for the Concours d'Elegance. I will be back mid-week.

I say go for Aug 17th, unless you need me there in an advisory capacity.

Howzit, gang! Excellent that a day & time have been set . I was much looking forward to attending then (I'm a newcomer -- drove mine off the lot on 06/13)

 

August 17 it is. 11 am. The movie this month is "Four Weddings and a Funeral," starring a red classic Mini. Oh yeah, and Hugh Grant.

The movie for September will be "Le Mans" starring a bunch of cars and Steve McQueen. Does everyone want to go back to the 2nd Sunday for that month??

 

I'm okay with Sept 14th (2nd Sunday).

Talked with SouthSeaSadie yesterday and reconfirmed the movie date on the 17th. It's important that we're all on the same page since Sadie is providing the movie and DVD player

Today was my first visit to the dealer (had to go to parts counter). Great looking dealership. I would like to attend this Mini & a Movie, however, was wondering where you would park for the event. Didn't see much of a parking lot and not much in the streets either.
