howdy! i just picked up my 07 cooper s today 
found this message forum a few days back and figured i should finally sign up and say hi to everyone. i had planned to go for a cruise today and get a good feel for the car, but got sidetracked this evening, so i guess i'll have to wait till next weekend. oh, about the car... nothing too fancy on her. grey and white cooper s with limited slip diff and dual sunroof. im trying to tell myself that i wont put too much money into mods, but we'll see how long that lasts, haha. hope everyone had a great weekend!
oh yeah, i attached a pic they took at the dealership. next weekend i hope to get some pictures with some nice hawaiian backdrops

Check out the Hawaii MINI Motoring Club forum as well and it's got a website too.
Check out the next autocross at Aloha Stadium lower parking lot on July 1.
In the summer both July and Aug we will have saturday autocross training day events followed by autocross events on the sundays that same weekend. See SCCAhawaii.org for more info.
If you have an MCS with LSD you've got to be a serious driver. Fortunately you picked a really good time to get an MCS so you're fine for now.
Get some miles done so you can finish break in.

thanks for the welcome! im not sure if i'm that serious of a driver... but had to get the lsd just in case, hehe. my previous car was a focus zx3, and i had put a lot of time and money into modifying it and one of the things i had wanted to get on it was an lsd; however i never did. since there was an option on the cooper i couldnt turn it down the only mods i will probably go for in the future are lighter rims and suspension upgrades. i'll definitely have to come check out the autocross at the stadium in july.
