On my way home from work, I drove through some standing water. Localized flooding. I got the limping engine alarm and the car stalled. It started back up, but in limp mode. I pulled over and let it idle a bit before trying to continue. The engine was sputtering but eventually smoothed out. The light remained on; however. I suppose I should take it to the dealer, but I would imagine it'll fine after it dries out.
How was the insurance valuation? I am wondering as there really isn't a NADA or KBB value on these cars. Did you just do comparisons for other cars for sale online?
