GP 2 Dyno numbers

Hi Guys

Just dynoed my GP2

Car has full bolt ons (intercoole, Exhaust, Catless Downpipe, k&N panel filter, Forge BOV, Charge Hose, JB+ @50%)

It made 271 BHP and 377 NM

A bit disappointed in the results, since i saw mariokarts gp doing 300bhp

Dyno was done with shitty third world country 91octane fuel, in 30C+ weather

Are these dyno numbers inline with what to expect?or is there any improvements to be had(boost leak test etc?)

Don't do it unless you have meth, 100 octane, or E85 there.

I'm assuming this isn't literal in that you are in a third world country, but where are you located? Do they use the same (R+M)/2 octane rating method? What fuel brand are you using. The type and brand of fuel can make a big difference.

Considering where you are and with MarioKart using Ethonal blend, your numbers would seem appropriate for your modifications. Fuel is a larger factor than most people think.

Hm, i did try to out the jb at 75 for 2 dyno runs, hp did not increase, only torque did tho

Logs seem great, afr at 11.2 and no timing pulls

Now, I'm not expert on the JB, but even if you it up to 75, wouldn't you still need to give the car time to adjust to the new parameters? I don't think its like an instant power kn0b.

My numbers were 250whp and 275wtq with a blend of 91 and 100, which came out to me 98octane. It was a nice cool day at sea level. The dyne numbers you got, were they at the wheels or are the numbers converted to crank power. If you yes, what transmission % loss did you use. I need to take my car to the same dyne, under the same conditions, to see way my Manic Map C will get me.

Do you know what your AFR, Timing, boost, RPM and gear your car was dyno'd

BTW, I did have my JB+ at 100%, but that doesn't necessary mean the car makes more power at 100%. I have seen Mini's make more power on 60% than 80%, the dial to me, is more of frequency adjustment for your particular car.
