Why I am hanging on to my 11 with the old motor. I good tune should make it feel like a totally different car. If done right it will set you back in the seat.
When I met Jan he loaded a canned tune on my car and told me to take her for a ride before I purchased anything. He was at one of the MINI Thunder events doing his thing. I came back with a huge smile. Sold! No one passes once get to feel it. Frankly I would sold my JCW long ago if I had to drive it stock. Wife was not to crazy about it at first because the car become a bit of a beast. Harder to launch smoothly and the turbo comes on pretty hard. It was set in stock and I was headed out of town for a week on business. Her car is at our winter place so we had been sharing between the truck. The wife actually asked if I would reload the tune for her. I was impressed. Even she is now liking the juice.

It would be wise to purchase a few of the plastic push-in rivets because you will probably trash a few.

The most frustrating part for me was disconnecting the brake ducts and reinstalling the metal crash bumper, the frame torqued when I removed it and it was a pain to get lined back up.

Oh, watch the install video on the helix website.
