Bay Area GP's

Any Bay Area GP owners out there?

If so, list your GP number and you're location.

I'm GP#0660 in San Francisco.

Cheers.

P.S. Maybe a reunion can be arranged someday...

Nope. Not me.

I did see GP1013 at the dealership, so maybe it was that one.

I'm told the SF dealership is charging $10K over MSRP for their GP's and that they got 7 of them! I can't believe it (the $10K part)... Ridiculous, if you ask me.

Ug, SF BMW/MINI is horrible - their overpricing is abusive and ridiculous and the service is sub par too. The sad part is that people buy cars readily available elsewhere and pay them any mark-up. Sorry to hear that they got so many GPs :(

So I guess there are a few SF GPs driving around then? I was at a light and saw it cross my path - first glimpse was very blue-ish, thought it was a Cool Blue 'vert for a split sec. Looked very nice of course

My brother just bought the last one in Vegas. He lives in Santa Cruz

GP# 1430

Also has two Checkmates both for sale

And a 1988 E28 M5

The GP is here until he sells a couple of his other cars. "It's a wife thing"

GP0032 is in the South Bay

Hi,
GP0032 is in Santa Clara.

As for MINI of SF, ditch 'em for service. Take the car to MINI of Concord. Great service, a dedicated, wonderful MINI S.A. named David Savell, and their own MINI Service Dept (not shared with BMW). You don't have to wait for weeks to get an appointment. Take BART home from Concord. Their shuttle will drop you off, and pick you up if it's more than a day in their shop
Charlie

Hi Dean!

Tom Ahlberg got GP1982 from Niello Mini in Sacramento. He lives in Marin County. He was interested in my car and was planning to drive North for it when he got called by the dealer with a car at MSRP and I got told by my mortgage man that I need not sell mine. Now that is what I call a Christmas miracle. LOL I look forward to seeing you all when I come South next.
Happy Holidays to all, Jeff

Saw GP0994 parked at Fillmore and Chestnut in SF this Saturday.

First GP I've seen since the one at the SF dealership.

The true miracle would be if Niello sold ANY MINI for MSRP, let alone a GP. I know they had one in the showroom for a while that the deal had fallen through on, but I can't believe they let it out the door with no mark-up.
