Thanks Louis, it will be taken care!
Thank you! I have wanted one of these since they came out back in the day and funnily enough saw this same GP driving around town as i live in the same area as Louis; so when it was up for sale, I had to get it. As with any car that's not new, it needs some reconditioning, and will be pulled apart to change out all the gaskets, bushings, and fix some of the things that are broken. I don't want to modify the supercharger or change too much with it (I have the '03 that's been pretty modified) but i've been spoiled with the 19% pulley and tune, so i have to think of things that improve performance a little without ruining the originality of it. Here are some pics.
It's a great car! I can definitely feel the difference between my '03 and the GP. Interestingly, the GP rides a lot better with the 18's compared the 17's on my '03.
You should put a downpayment on the upcoming GP3!
Oh man, i couldnt imagine not driving it for that long!

Hi
One thing about the GP is the engines were usually well cared for and I can see the engine oil was changed often.
I am happy that you got this beauty and happier , that you are making it right and keeping the tradition of care on your GP.
Hopefully, one day I will find one I can afford. I wish I knew, I could fit in these in 2006, as I had money back then, but just didn't think I would fit! My sister told me I could in 2016 and I searched hard for a 06 R53 JCW. Retirement has put a dampener in my spending!
Keep us posted on you work, as I know many are watching your progress!
The brutal part is your weather and what they do to your roads in the winter!
