Just a quick question.

A new 2012 GP? What is the MSRP?

A guy here in Houston just pre-ordered one and they couldn’t tell him the price…they said apparently anywhere from $47 -$55 ….. And that was for an existing MINI owner… only the rich will be purchasing these, and then they won’t drive them so WE will never see them......

I would much rather send $17-$22 grand on a used 06 with $17 having higher mileage and $22 low/mint... I saw quite a few in that range at MOTD 2012 (MINIs on the Dragon) this past May. Just not ready for one yet!!!

If I had to put a guess on it, the car will be better equipped then the original GP in the way of better seats and also xenons. The standard JCW comes in around $31,000, add Recaros and Xenons, you are at $35,000....... I put the new GP at $40,000-$44,000 if I had to put a price on it. I think I will keep the 06......... then buy the new one in 3-5 years at a discounted price!

I’ve seen a fully loaded JCW and i mean fully loaded price out at over $50 at the dealer. One sold in the Woodlands (in Texas) for $54,000.... Price them out on the web and add every option (which the new GP apparently has)....(maybe take off 6 or 7,000 if you don’t include a warr.or service plan option but then add it back on for the GP option....

I would deff keep your 06, thats what i origanally went to buy but the one i went to get was sold right before i got there and the guy traded mine in to get it so i ended up with his (mine).... i still want an 06, .......but i still love my 09....

+1 Nobody here knows the final price, but no way the MSRP will be that high. $37-$39 range is more likely.

More discussion on the 2013 GP can be found ==> here.

Back on topic...

Good luck with the sale of GP0434. Do you have it advertised in the NAM marketplace?
