Saw a GP driving opposite direction of me today. I was going west bound down Harbor Blvd in Costa Mesa by the Target. Unfortunately I couldn't see the number on the roof, but definitely very excited as I've never seen another GP in person. Any of you on here?

Trying to think if I was over there...but I don't think I was! Dan (GP0936) lives close by those neck of the woods too...but his GP is pretty noticeable with a cage in it and RMW stickers.

Weren't you the one selling your GP? If you still have it we should go for a drive one weekend!

 

Could be me…I work in the area and am out and about during lunch time. I'm usually by the camp or mitsuwa.

 

Haha it was probably you then. I think the 3 of us did connect before when I was trying to sell my GP. I still have it. We should definitely all go out for a run sometime. I have a buddy that runs a Porsche and usually him and I will do a run locally every month or so. Maybe you guys might be interested.

 

If you guys are interested, the M5 guys I run with are having a Glendora Mtn Run on May 12th. Its a great group to run with and we stop after to have lunch and catch up. Pretty. The GP does really well on those roads.

I was just at Glendora a few weeks ago and got kicked out by some forest Sheriff lol. The GP definitely does well. I was behind two S2000 for a good 15 miles and pressured them to go faster at every turn lol. We should definitely all meet up on the 12th. Keep in touch!

 

The GP does very well on GMR. Big cars like the M5 do ok, but its better suited for smaller, nimbler cars, such as ours. Hope to see you guys next weekend. Its definitely a fun drive and a good bunch of people too.

Hahahaha! Small world man! My buddy Jeremy is a tech on the BMW side. He texted me and said there are 3 GPs here today out of 415? I was just like wow. What are the chances of that...hahaha.

Gonna have to pay you a visit when the Mini side opens up fully. Have you seen my Laurel Sport come through? I'm working with Calibre Collision in Anaheim to get it fixed after an incident in the 91 Express lane smashed up the driver side. I'll probably have Dan contact Kyle to get it aligned after all the body work is done.
