anyone mod a gp?

Hi guys ,

Wondering if any bros here mod their gp ,my idea of modding are simple mods listed on some websites like alta and minimania.

I wanna know few things :

Anyone change their sc pulleys to 15 or 17 per or changed crank pulleys?

Anyone running headers, full exhaust and sprint booster?

Anyone runs big head and cams?

Anyone runs turbo

Finally piggyback or retune the current ecu?

Thanks and u guys are great, luckily found this website!

I think that because of the collector status of the GP most have left them stock. That being said, I know a couple of UK folks that have changed to a smaller SC pulley but left the rest alone.

Well, it is a collectors car which is why. The resale of it is based on the authenticity of it. If you mod it out, then you are changing is and possibly lowering the resale. That being said, it is your MINI and you can do what you like to it.

Like others I have not done much to the engine, just Mini Madness air filter, Milltek cat-back exhaust, spark plug wires.
Suspension Mods: Adj Front Camber Plates, Front Lower Strut Brace, Adj Rear Sway Bar, Cabrio Braces, and Non-RunflatTires.
Brake Mods: TCE/Wilwood 13" Big Brake Kit, SS Lines, and High Temp Fluid.

i could care less about the so-called collectible nature of the vehicle. i've got 40-over pistons, cam, valves and decent springs, smaller pulley, headers, cat delete, meth injection, water cooled ic, os giken diffy, and more. it runs extremely well and remains very streetable.

I plan on Headers next, maybe consider different Exhaust (have JCW now) and also want to change to H-Sport camber Plates. See Sig for rest of stuff.
