That Carmax GP in Socal is bout as cheap as they come these days...couple of bucks more than my "Garage Prince" that I nabbed from a Craigslist ad back in December. If you are in the Southland I'd def go look at it, or at least consider the transfer fee depending where you are. That is one of the bennies of Carmax, dunno what the exact details are if you take a pass on it, but they should be able to give you the intel on the car.

Shoot for $22,000 thats sounds like a steal to me. I don't like the rims on the other GP though.

I used to own GP #1425 it has alot of work done to it since I sold it and gone thru 3 owners since me. lol I did the dash and seat mods, as well as gauges, also this was not a Monterey del. Mini it was original sold in Kansas.

I was gonna offer them brand new GP mats still in plastic plus $20-40 for theirs. I thought they had Monterey pick up floor mats.

I thought the same thing about the wheels at first, but now they're growing on me...kinda look like Mini Challenge race wheels, would completely dig these in gunmetal or black...listing does state the originals are included.

I'm sorta shopping for wheels/tires to save my originals, so seeing something else on a GP is of value to me.

Since you're a previous owner, how is it that it has the Euro seats?...I thought all the US models came with the cloth seats (due to the airbag reqs).
Just curious.

I had the astro cloth removed, it was starting to fray, and had leather installed to factory seat. Headrests done as well. Did the same to GP 1118 so when I owned them both they were twins. The Euro GP's had the Recaro seats.

Cheap GP

There's a GP at Carmax for $22,000. It has almost 50,000 miles on it.

Is this the same one as the second post (above), or a different GP being sold at another Carmax?

Personally I am looking for a GP that has not been tracked or modified wi low miles myself, so I would not be interested in GP 766. I know of some cars around $26-28K.

There's one in Texas for $24,500, however this car sold from the East cost for around $22K
