ordering my mini tomorrow and still can't decide if i want lightning blue or astro black. i will be getting the white roof with sunroof and black checkers around the sunroof. which would ya'll suggest: lightning blue or astro black?

Black with checkers is an awesome combo. I haven't seen it with the blue but it might be awesome too.

What do you really want in your MINI. IMHO black is sophisticated and somewhat more aggressive. In and of itself, the blue is bright and is perhaps more fun/playful -especially with a white roof. It depends on what you want to project.

Either way, it's a MINI. How can you go wrong????

I 100 % agree it should be an easy choice ,Look within!

 

Do what I did when I couldn't decide between two colors: ask the dealership to pull an AB and a LiB together side by side and decide yourself!

Personally, I prefer the Lightning Blue over the Astro Black but the checkered roof setup that you have planned would look better with AB.

 

My completely unbiased, personal opinion would be Astro Black

I agree though that you should see both "in the flesh" before choosing

Astro Black, at least that's what we've ordered with white roof/mirrors. It's book on the ship an should hit land on the 21st of next month.

hi again everyone ... just placed my order for MCS AB/W, Premier, Convenience, LSD, Sport Suspension, White Bonnet Stripes. I'm sooooo excited!!! We were having a hard time deciding on the On Board Nav System, but I passed on it when we saw the Garmin Portable one at the dealer. Does anyone have any opinions the the Garmin vs. the On Board Nav? If I change my mind on the On Board Nav, how long do I have to let MINI know?
