Does anyone have cocomats in their MINI?

I'd like to get custom mats for my R56 and I can't decide between the JCW checkered and cocomats. Does anyone have cocomats in their MINI? If so, how do you like them? Do they hold up well? A picture would be great. Thank you!

I had them for a long time in my MGB, way back when. Sorry, no pics of it.

I used to - they were great at keeping dirt hidden
No great pics I'm afraid ...

Twister, I saw diamond plate floormats at your blog. Are those cocomats?
GBMINI, those look great. What color are they? They look blue and white.
I'm still not sure about these or the JCW mats.

I have Cocomats in all-black, which have a wonderful herringbone weave pattern. Do forum search on "cocomats". They are fairly popular and I have seen a number of photos on NAM (also MINI2). I love them and would get them again. They fit perfectly and make an impression of being a premium high quality product.

Thanks, rkw. I'll do that.

My wife has them in her VW Cabrio.
They're quite nice. They trap dirt nicely, easy to shake out, sturdy, look good.
Downside: a little heavy and stiff, and sometimes they slide up
under the clutch pedal and catch it, and they wear out the heel corner of the
soles of my Birkenstocks.

Well, I ordered them! Black and gray dot. I do love the black with red, but that doesn't work with an oxygen blue car.

I got the black mats with grey dots. Really are nice mats, and fit perfectly. Mine don't slide. There are nibs on the back that grip the carpet.

"There are nibs on the back that grip the carpet."

Sounds like they've been improved since we got 'em.

I ordered samples from several companies that sold these mats. I could tell a difference in the quality. Here's the web site where I got mine:
http://www.cocomats.com/ I called and placed my order on the phone with Jeff, who was very helpful.

Oops...I went with a catalog that cost a little less (autosport.com). I hope the quality is good.

I think you'll like them. They are heavy duty and probably will never wear out. They coordinate with the carpet/seats better than the photos indicate. I normally just vacuum up loose stuff that I track into the car, and on occasion take them out and shake out the dirt that's trapped in the fiber. I also treat the rubber heel rest with Nero. Keeps it looking new w/o a high shine.

I think the nibs have a relatively minor role for keeping them in place. Mine (from cocomats.com) are thick, stiff and heavyweight, and fit so snugly in the footwells that there is really no space for them to slide.

Yeah, I was wondering if they'll slide too, I guess that cleared up some of my questions too, thanks!

RKW is correct. They are custom made and fit very snug. They don't slide nor bunch up.

bringing this back up. where's the cheapest place to buy them? are these coco mats the real deal or is it more of a knock off?
http://www.aiwana.com/Merchant2/merc...y_Code=miniint
only $100. compared to the over $200 from http://www.cocomats.com/
are the OEM carpet hard to clean? coco mats are THAT much easier to clean? O.o
(wanna find them for cheap cause im running low on money and i might BARELY be able to pay for my car payment..)
