Google Maps has added a new feature in certain areas called street level view. If it is available in your area you can click on the street level view icon on the top of the map and an actual 360 degree photo is shown from the street !

Google Earth is pretty out dated for my area of town. Based on the cars I see at our old house, it is about 6 or 7 years out of date.

Found him

Well, I found my MINi. Looks to be a year old photo. At least 9 months old.
My MINI is parked at a job I do not work at anymore. For some reason in this
photo my union jack roof blurred into a white blob. But I can still tell it's him.
That's where I always parked- next to the window where I could stare at him all day long

At work

Here's a pic of mine, with the sunroof in the closed position.
I'm inside, happily slaving away.

Checked both maps.live.com and google maps. maps.live looks to be at least 4yrs old for my area, judging by the state of construction a public park in the area. Google maps finally updated my area since the last time I looked. Seems to be around mid-summer 2007 by the state of retrofitting going on at the school next door to home.. Heh. Found my MCS parked at work.

Virtual Earth has good detail around the Oxford plant as well.

Awful definition in Google earth in my area - looks fuzzy from anywhere below 1500ft. Cars are blobs.

Try Virtual Earth. It has a "bird's eye view" which looks like a digital photo taken from a low flying airplane (like a bird).
